Happy Spring Break! Here's our "round three" at the Hyatt - our local getaway! If you haven't seen our other shoots at the Hyatt, then check them out here & here. This hidden gem never surprises me with its beautifully manicured greenery. Jasmine and I fell in love with the oversized beige & black striped umbrellas that mimicked the black stripe on Jas's sun hat. This 4.6 star resort is seriously the perfect relaxation location. There's beach access, a variety of swimming pools, adjustable service flags on the side of each lounge chair, and even a sunscreen mist booth! We found this area of the resort by walking straight through the lobby of the hotel, all the way down the corridor. We exited the doors and took the steps leading down to the Waterfall Pool. Each time we visit the Hyatt, I don't see many people swimming in this pool, but it's for sure the resort's iconic look. On the right side of this main isle, there's a sunblock mist booth...super cool! I've never used one or heard of anything like this, but it seems very useful! As you're faced against the Waterfall Pool, there will be an opening to your left (where you can follow a path for boardwalk beach access) or to the right (the pool we took these photos at). We chose this pool because it had minimal traffic and it was quieter. Beyond this area, a small staircase led us to a tiki hut drink bar and the Adventure Pool. The Adventure Pool is a lagoon style pool with a corkscrew slide, aka the place to have fun. It was definitely necessary to grab a drink from the bar, and naturally a piña colada was the drink of choice. I loved the pineapple wedge on the rim of the drink! We wandered beyond the secluded pool to find an open field, where the two photos below were taken. Want to schedule a shoot? Click here or navigate through the "Contact" tab to get in touch with me!
