First off, Miromar Lakes is my favorite photo-scape in Estero, Florida. I visited the property a week prior to the scheduled shoot with Jasmine to scope out the area. I adore this location and its secret garden-esque appearance. There are charming hedge-wall arches and at the real estate office there's a large, beautiful wooden door. I knew we had to get some shots that incorporated these beautiful structures. Jasmine and I made a list of locations to visit for photo sessions and this was at the top of this list - we couldn't wait any longer to explore the grounds. The Miromar Lakes community is known for its iconic fountain view from Ben Hill Griffin Parkway. The full-grown symmetrical king palm trees and immaculate green lawn lead your eyes to the grand fountain with an all-pavers rotary surrounding it. This focal point is charming and unique, as seen on the left side of the photo below. This is the perfect location for a feminine, girly, or preppy photo session. Jasmine wore a lace crop top midi dress with wedges and a red top-handle purse. We knew the greenery photographed with the blush ensemble would merge seamlessly. The baby pink roses wrapped in brown paper gave a "fresh-from-the-flower-market" look and was oh-so-sweet! If you're looking to take photos at Miromar Lakes, either on your own or in a photo session with myself, I would recommend to go earlier in the day when there's less traffic. Jasmine and I were there around 10/10:30 AM on a Sunday morning for this session which provided the lighting as seen in the photos. Keep in mind that this is a residential neighborhood and although it is beautiful, make sure to be respectful towards the property and its residents. Check out the following post for Part Two of this photo shoot!
