Ready or not, the summer heat has arrived in South Florida! Scorching days and and rainy afternoons are flooding our weather forecast and are giving me a run for my money when it comes to outfit choices and photo shoot availability. The afternoon sun showers quite often turn into stormy, thundering evenings leaving it impossible to get photo shoots done. The predictable heat and unpredictable weather circumstances are constantly challenging my wardrobe. It's almost as if I should be suited up in shorts, a sweater, and rain boots each day! In order to cope with these shenanigans, I've been adding loose, breeze capturing outfits to my closet. Two-piece sets like this one and this one are outfits that I've been trying to recreate. Here's my take on it.

Another summer go-to outfit for me are maxi dresses. They're fun and flouncy - perfect for a summer party or brunch with the girls. One material in particular that I love is linen because it's laid-back and casual. I happened to come across this linen maxi in Marshalls and knew I just had to have it! The simplicity of dresses and rompers make outfits easy since they're just one piece that doesn't require any matching.
